One of the best things about London is the fact that there are events happening all the time. Whether you are into art, business, literature, blogging or whatever you can be sure there are a few options for you every week to meet up with like minded folks. I suppose the same goes for any metropolitan area in any country really.
I was fortunate enough to be invited to give a talk at a networking group called Shoestring Marketing, run by Andy Bargery. The talk was originally going to be about personal branding only but in planning it evolved over time into personal branding and LinkedIn, as social networking almost goes hand in hand with personal branding nowadays. These are both very meaty subjects so my challenge was to condense the content and focus on a few key points.
Long story short, the evening was really good in spite of icy cold weather and a couple of hiccups regarding the meeting rooms. I thought I'd share the presentation I made here. Hope it makes sense without me chatting away about it, do let me know if you have any questions at all.
